paul tam - youth Pastor
I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age 23. So growing up as a child, I missed out on the fun of being raised up in a church and the importance of cultivating a dynamic relationship with God. My desire is that our young people will grow up to become disciples of Jesus, to become a 24/7 Christian and to impact the world around them for God. Our youths come together for Discipleship from 12:15 -1:00 pm on Sundays and from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Fridays for “Friday Nite Live”.
BASIC STUFF:
Originally born in Hong Kong, my family migrated to the U.S. when I was 10 years old and then at 18, I became a naturalized U.S. citizen. My wife, Darla and I have been married for nearly 20 years. Darla is a homemaker as well as a home school mom. We have two beautiful daughters, Jenny (15) & Julia (8). As for pets, we have Judah, a 13 year old Labrador retriever and several tropical fish. At my day time job, I work as a civil CADD supervisor for an engineer consulting firm. Darla and I became members at the Harvest in June, 2006. We are grateful and excited to be a part of God’s mission in the High Desert.
